Marginalization and its Impact on Political-Social Development in tehran Metropolis

Abstract

Thepresent study aims to determine the phenomenon of marginalization and its impact on socio-political development in the metropolis of Tehran. Data collection was collected by survey with questionnaire tools and stratified and random sampling methods. The statistical population of the study is 368 citizens living iInthe two suburbs of Farahzad and Qaleh Mir in Tehran. After data collection, and using SPSS software, the data were analyzed. Based on inferential statistics, Pearson and regression tests were used and finally the path analysis model was presented. Findings show that marginalization has slowed down socio-political development by reducing the quality of life.In the greatest and strongest impact of marginalization on socio-political development, we can see the direct effect of the variable of education (0.400), political participation (0.365), quality of life (0.291), justice and equality ( He mentioned 0.287) and social capital (0.247)In total, the variables in this study can explain up to 75% of the impact of marginalization on socio-political development.
