Sociological study of the impact of lifestyle on political participation of students (a case study of students of Razi University,Kermanshah)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of lifestyle on political participation of students of Razi university of Kermanshah and lifestyle is divided into two categories: individual factors and social factors .This is a descriptive-analytical study and Research method is also survey. The present study is a quantitative research group in terms of data type and a questionnaire was used to collect data and is a field research. The statistical population of the study is students of Razi University of Kermanshah .The statistical population is 321 people by using Cochran formula and SPSS software and regression analyses were used to analyze data for achieving the study results. The results indicate that individuality; including gender, drug uses, and exercise, have the greatest impact on political participation, the middle and lower classes have more political participation than the upper class.People with higher social status and social affiliation are more likely to have political participation than others.
