Abstract

In this article, we will examine the role and position of identity in the conflicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States between 1979 and 2018. Accordingly, the main question is: What effect did identity have on the conflicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America between 1979 and 2018?

The temporary answer to the present question is: The revolutionary-Islamic identity of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in opposition to the hegemonic identity of the United States of America, which has always caused conflicts in the relations between the two countries between 1979 and 2018.

The temporary answer to the question of this descriptive-analytical article is that the revolutionary-Islamic identity of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in opposition to the arrogant identity of the United States of America, which has always caused conflicts in the relations between the two countries between 1979 and 2018. .
