Abstract

Abstract
In general, personality traits are the same patterns of individuals in behavior, feelings and thoughts and individual characteristics that distinguish a person from others. In fact, personality traits such as sociality and impulsivity describe the general tendency to respond to situations, and temperament is essentially equivalent to childhood personality. In general, the results of various researches indicate the relationship between childhood temperament and subsequent delinquent violations and behaviors. The study of the relationship between personality and delinquent behavior shows why people who live under the same criminal circumstances may respond quite differently to the same circumstances, with some people committing inappropriate and criminal behaviors in appropriate settings and others Despite living in the same inappropriate environments, they do not commit inappropriate or criminal behaviors. In fact, personality traits can help explain why some people, in response to stress, exhibit more extrinsic behaviors, such as substance abuse, than internalized behaviors, such as anxiety. The study of criminal behavior examines the relationship between crime and personality traits. Better understanding of the personality traits of delinquent adolescents helps to understand, assess, and design intervention programs.
