Abstract

GholamHossein Saedi tried to recount the social and personal problems of his time and to analyze them according to his psychiatric specialty and relying on his anthropological and psychoanalytic methods. How and what is the nature of the theme of Saedi's plays and the extent of the impact of his plays and screenplays in the field of Iranian playwriting and his imitation of traditional and modern European playwriting style are among the main questions of this research. Saedi's plays express the sufferings of the people, economic problems, poverty, social corruption, psychological trauma, the ignorance of individuals, inappropriate ideologies, dehumanization and alienation, suicide, anxieties and fears, the struggle against governmental and military tyranny, militant tyranny and militancy. He has been subjugated by the tyrannical tyranny of lords and land grabbers and resistance to the land reform law, the government's oppression of libertarians and constitutionalists and the like, and in general his political, social, economic, cultural and eerie themes in his plays. There is also. He has also contributed to the richness and development of Iranian theater and the art of Iranian playwriting. The data collection method in this research is analytical-descriptive, library method, data analysis method, qualitative method and reasoning method are inductive methods. The results of this research show that he has used the style of modern playwrights in his early plays and according to these works, he has reflected on the issues and problems of the new era and his time.
