Abstract

Helmand River and its critical situation is considered as one of the critical situations between the two countries of Iran and Afghanistan. According to the introduction mentioned, this crisis has become the source of harmful socio-economic-political effects that It has been irreparable for years. The intermittent droughts of the Helmand River during different historical periods have caused harmful political, security, economic, social and cultural effects on Iran and the Sistan region. The sources themselves have become another factor to create pressure and use as tools in the hands of this government. The catastrophes of the crisis, the intensification of the drought and its continuation in the future will become more tangible and complex. The depth and extent of these catastrophes They should be more tangible for the affected governments, so they should not be ignored and should necessarily be among the foreign policy priorities of these two countries, especially our country. In this regard, the best choice of the two countries is cooperation and interaction, otherwise the crisis will intensify. Lack of effective action causes disaster and consequently creates a crisis Thighs and fights.
