Abstract
Today, one of the major destabilizing urban challenges is a type of urbanization with acute problems due to informal settlement or marginalization. This research is considered among applied studies. The research method in the present study is descriptive-analytical and in order to collect the necessary data and information from two library methods to encompass the findings of previous related researches, the documentary method to collect data, compare and relate them, and the field method through It is scrolling. The results obtained from this research based on assumptions show that there is a significant relationship between the growth of informal settlements in Islamshahr and the formation of its social consequences. Thirty-two percent (32%) of the effects caused by the growth of informal settlements in Islamshahr are related to the formation of its social consequences; Also, the greatest effects can be seen in the independent variable, in the index of economic issues, and in the dependent variable, in the dimension of social damage of informal settlements. Based on the focal correlation results, the index of economic issues is ranked first with a 35% impact on the total of other variables. Meanwhile, based on the analysis and presentation of the model, the highest correlation in the indicators is between health issues and Next, comfort facilities and leisure time can be seen in the informal settlements of Islamshahr.
