Abstract

Since behavior has a fundamental role in the material element of crime. Therefore, addressing the category of behavior is of particular importance for a long time and in this regard, it is appropriate to study behavior in terms of psychology, sociology and social sciences to understand the mutual role of each in the material element of crime. On the other hand, personality is one of the scientific and completely specialized phenomena in the field of psychology, because personality is a complex phenomenon with various dimensions that has a great impact on human and social behavior. In other words, all human behavior is under the influence of this phenomenon. Many of them have been practiced, some of which are sometimes impractical and some of which have significant scientific validity. In general, it can be said that personality traits, similar patterns of behavior, feelings and thoughts and individual characteristics that distinguish a person from others. These characteristics can have three functions: summarizing one's personality traits, predicting one's future behaviors, and explaining one's behaviors. The trait view is based on the assumption that humans are extensively prepared to take action and respond to stimuli in specific ways. These extensive preparations and specific methods of response form the personality traits of each individual.
