Eldorado's novel: The bedrock of Laurent Godé's literary, sociological, and political views

Abstract

Laurent Godé is a famous and contemporary French writer whose novels are inspired by two themes. Some of his novels are influenced by myths and others by contemporary events and current affairs such as immigration. El Dorado's novel deals with one of the most important and fascinating topics of the day, illegal immigration, and thus, the author combines two main sources of inspiration and creates his work based on mythology and current affairs. A work that attracts attention both in terms of literary level and thematic level. In this article, with structural and narrative analysis, Eldorado's novel is examined, especially from the literary, identity, sociological and political dimensions, in order to determine how to address the issue of illegal immigration by exploiting modern methods of creating novels in the most original forms and formats. Has offered. The results of this article indicate that Laurent Godé, in his novel Eldorado, chose the idea of the migration of Asians and Africans. The choice of this idea cannot be based on a simple social idea. The author's unusual involvement in the choice of immigration route and among the countries pregnant with political events and the choice of anti-hero among Syrian Muslims and fascinating postmodern techniques to impress readers, indicate his readiness to use one of the most complex issues. It is human to instill its views and those of European society.
