Designing a model for the impact of the national exam on the hidden curriculum of high school

Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted to design a model for the effectiveness of the national test on the hidden curriculum in high school.
Methodology: The research method is a mixed exploratory method (qualitative-quantitative) which in the qualitative part is the data approach of the foundation and in the quantitative part is descriptive-survey. Statistical sample In the qualitative section, 12 experts in the field of educational sciences and psychometrics of Tehran universities were selected by theoretical sampling method and in the quantitative section, 374 secondary school teachers in Tehran cities were selected by stepwise random sampling method. The data collection tool is semi-structured in the qualitative part of the interview and in the quantitative part is a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 15 questions in a 5-point Likert scale. The method of analyzing the interview data was selected in the qualitative, open, coded and selective sections and in the quantitative section, confirmatory factor analysis was selected.
Results: The research findings in the qualitative section included 15 open codes in the form of 5 categories (school physical structure, social atmosphere, school social relations, information and communication technology and encouragement and punishment mechanism) and the results of the quantitative section showed that the research model fits It is sufficient and the structure of school physics has more priority in the extracted model.
