Abstract

The city of Neyshabur, which was considered one of the most important fortresses of Khorasan in the fourth and fifth centuries AH, was the center of activity of various religious groups and sects such as Shafi'i, Hanafi, Shiite and Karamiyeh. The Karamiya sect is attributed to Muhammad ibn Karam Sistani. This sect is one of the most important and influential sects of Neishabour in this period. The elders and scholars of the Karamiyya sect, using special methods and behavioral and ideological characteristics such as asceticism and a special account of their faith, were able to attract many people of this region and even some of the rulers of the time, and In this way, they had a great impact on the cultural and social developments of Khorasan, especially Neishabour. In this descriptive-analytical article, the aim is to use the sources to study and analyze the most important cultural and social activities and influences of Karamiyeh in Neishabour, which in the period under discussion, the scientific pole and one of The most important quatrain was Khorasan, let's pay. According to the sources, it seems that the Karamians succeeded in spreading Islam in this region in certain ways, and at the same time, the scholars of this sect engaged in scientific activities. Karamiyeh was very influential in building early monasteries in Khorasan and even other cities and countries.
