Abstract

Recent political developments in Iraq in various political, securities, cultural and economic fields have affected the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with this country. With the formation of the democratic process and the rise of the Shiites in the new Iraqi political system, Iran has achieved a good level of convergence with the Iraqi government, and these developments have improved Iran-Iraq relations. For this reason, recognizing the contexts and obstacles of strategic relations and the political strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing and establishing political stability in Iraq can pave the way for these relations. The main research question is what are the contexts and obstacles of strategic relations and political strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing and establishing political stability in Iraq (2003 to 2020)? The purpose of this study is to investigate the contexts and obstacles of strategic relations and political strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing and establishing political stability in Iraq (2003 to 2020). This research is of descriptive-analytical and qualitative type. Findings show that the context of strategic relations and political strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing political stability in Iraq are components such as geopolitical, geo-economics components, cultural components of Iran-Iraq relations, new Iraqi political structure, Shiite geopolitics and relations. Iran and Iraq are the formation of Takfiri-Salafi groups.
