Designing and explaining the maturity model of knowledge management and smart business with organizational effectiveness approach in small and medium IT companies in Fars and Khorasan Razavi provinces

Abstract

This study aims to design and explain the maturity model of knowledge management and smart business with an organizational effectiveness approach in small and medium IT companies in Fars and Khorasan Razavi provinces. The statistical population included managers, experts and employees of information technology companies in 200 companies, of which 40 companies from Fars province and 50 companies from Khorasan Razavi province were easily identified and selected. The data collection method was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. First, using the Asian Productivity Organization questionnaire with 65 questions, a total of 180 questionnaires were distributed among the statistical population and 178 completed questionnaires were analyzed. Then, to complete the information, using Delphi method, interviews were conducted with 6 experts in the field of knowledge management. In data analysis, Chi-square test was used to determine the relationship and De Summers test was used to determine the severity and regression test. Analysis of the findings showed that the effectiveness of the seven criteria of knowledge management, respectively, knowledge management results, 48.6%, knowledge processes, 48.5%, leadership, 52.6%, processes, 46.6%, People, 52.6%, technology, 28%, learning and innovation, 56.6%. Regarding the variable "smart business" with the approach of "organizational effectiveness" as well as "organizational effectiveness" and "characteristics of small and medium businesses", a significant relationship has been confirmed.
