Conceptual Explanation the Boundaries of Urban Politics and Urban Policy in Urban Politics Science

Abstract

Although it has been much using of the two Urban Politics and Urban Policy Concepts, but Compare them together, the conceptual boundaries of two mentioned concepts are not much transparent. This is a problem, and this research has tried to prove the Reason. To answer the question; What comparing two mentioned concepts can help to our better understanding of Urban Politics Science?, Case study method has been used. Referring to theoretical works and documents, the conceptual boundaries of Urban Politics and Urban Policy have been determined and then, they have been compared to each other. the two mentioned concepts don't totally overlap each other, and each of them has its own exclusive area. In next step, the relation of these two concepts (Urban Politics and Urban Policy) has been determined With Urban Politics Science. The research concluded that Urban Politics Science is nothing but Understanding of hidden intervention of unofficial forces in a city decision making process, and other topics are additional and unessential.
