Abstract

The main purpose of the research design; Investigating the relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and critical thinking of accounting students of Islamic Azad University. The research method is descriptive-survey and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population was all accounting students of Islamic Azad University, Bushehr Branch, from which 201 people were selected using simple random sampling method. To analyze the data collected in this study, both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used. Descriptive statistics were used to provide demographic characteristics of the subjects and to express central indicators and dispersion such as mean and standard deviation. used. In order to test the research hypotheses and inferential analysis of Kolmogorov-Smirnov methods (to determine how to distribute research data and to investigate the normality of research variables and the possibility of performing parametric tests) and regression and SPSS software to analyze Research hypotheses were used. According to the research findings, all hypotheses were confirmed with a high level of confidence and according to the results, it should be noted that there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and students' critical thinking. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the dimensions and components of emotional intelligence with critical thinking and the research hypotheses are confirmed.
