Assessing the effects of extremist fundamentalism in the Middle East on the security relations of the international system

Abstract

The phenomenon of fundamentalism in the Islamic world is not a dominant and pervasive phenomenon among Muslims themselves. However, in the context of fundamentalism and Salafism, we can point to a major factor in the confrontation with Western civilization and modernity and local factors such as the lack of democracy, conventional religious education and the rise of religious beliefs in some societies. Because modernity, by transforming the role of religion in individual and social life, has created numerous identity and social crises for traditional Muslim societies and has left far-reaching and fundamental effects on relations between global actors. The main question now is what effects does the growth of extremist fundamentalism in the Middle East have on the security relations of the international system? It seems that extremist fundamentalism, as a megacity that divides the world into a minority of the right and the majority of infidels and considers war or so-called jihad against the infidel front necessary, can endanger global security. Therefore, the main purpose of the foundation is to evaluate the effects of the variable, extreme fundamentalism in the Middle East on security relations in the international system; Therefore, according to the evaluations, it has been categorized into the results that. In this regard, the research in the process of its studies by collecting the necessary data to study, analyze the relationships of the data, to provide suggestions, its theoretical, strategic and operational nature is more tangible.
