Abstract

Ferdowsi In Shahnameh has mentioned the various characteristics of worthy and ideal kings, the most important of which should be considered as rationality; Because this trait underlies the emergence of other behavioral characteristics such as justice and observance of justice in man. A look at the practical behavior of kings and other personalities present in the Shahnameh shows that the concepts of giving and wisdom should be considered as the main basis of their actions at different times. On this basis, in the present study, citing library sources and descriptive-analytical method, the role of wisdom in the justice of kings in the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi has been studied and explored. The results of the research show that Ferdowsi, by sanctifying wisdom, has legitimized the kings with this attribute and placed them among the Ahura (God) forces. In his view, justice is one of the actions that prevails in governments based on rationalism and the level of worldly and spiritual well-being of the people is directly related to the two concepts of reason and justice. The most important outcomes of justice and wisdom in macro-policies are: observance and protection of material and spiritual rights of subordinates; Rational approach to defeated groups in war; The favorable effect of wisdom and justice on the quality of the kingdom; The inverse relationship of wisdom with injustice; The wise judge and the affirmations of God; Increasing the level of welfare of the people.
