Explaining the philosophical principles and foundations of e-citizen education

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to explain the philosophical principles and foundations of e-citizen education. This research has been done using a qualitative approach and inductive method and the researcher has sought to understand and extract the intrinsic meanings in e-citizen education. The field of research of the present research includes all books, articles, documents and published researches available internally and externally on the philosophical foundations of e-citizenship education. For data analysis, thematic coding method including 3 types of open coding, axial coding, selective coding has been used and all the resulting codes revolve around 4 main axes (epistemological, ontological, ontological and anthropological foundations of e-citizen education).
Findings: The findings of the research resulting from qualitative analysis showed that: The most important philosophical principles and foundations of e-citizenship education in the field of epistemology, ontological ontology and anthropology are: in the field of epistemology (ability to use electronic tools including computers and the Internet , Working with online forms, online shopping, banking and other daily affairs related to e-citizenship in the digital world in the field of ontology (gaining individual and social identity and peaceful life in the global community of e-citizen index) in the field of cognition (respect for Values, customs, traditions and beliefs of other citizens and peaceful coexistence, explaining the moral duties of e-citizenship in cyberspace (and in the field of anthropology (designing citizenship education programs according to human characteristics)
