The relationship between the ruler and the people in John Locke's thought (based on the theory of Thomas Springs)

Abstract

Findings: The findings of the study showed that according to Springs Locke, the crisis of society is due to the impunity of violators of the natural state and the reason for it is the deep thought equality in the natural state and the ideal society considers the creation of a constitutional government. The solution is to create a social contract between people.
Conclusion of the research: What legitimizes the government and obliges the people to obey its limited laws is a social contract. Under this social contract, there is a reciprocal transfer of rights and duties between the people and the government.
The people are obliged to obey the government, and under certain conditions they are obliged to revolt and revolt against the government. Obedience and rebellion or revolution are the two main tasks of the people against the government. In Locke's view, the very principles that legitimize state authority also provide the basis for justifying rebellion.
