Abstract

After the discovery of huge oil and gas resources in different regions, fundamental changes took place in the economy, politics and political geography of the world. This shows the growing importance of oil in the world's political and economic relations, which has a special meaning for the countries that own it, which is the dream of economic development and growth. Oil-rich countries were expected to reduce their economic distance from developed countries in the long run. But what has happened in practice in many parts of the world; It was something different. Along with the unsuccessful experience of many countries in realizing the dream of development, there are second countries whose oil has become an important factor in their development. The most important country in this field is Norway. Accordingly, and considering the importance of oil for Iran, this study seeks to examine the experiences of Norway in the field of oil and identify these experiences and suggest them for the Iranian economy. The main question of the present study is what is the reason for the difference in the impact of oil on the economic development of Norway and the Islamic Republic of Iran? The answer lies in institutional hospitalization in Iran and Norway.
