The Role of the Tabriz Association in the Constitutional Movement

Abstract

According to historians and writers, there are many internal factors underlying the constitutional movement, one of which was the political associations that in the years before the constitutional movement, made a tireless effort to fight the tyranny and corruption of the Qajar government and finally They led to the victory of the constitutional movement and the formation of political parties in Qajar Iran. These associations, which played a role in the internal intellectual fields of the constitutional movement, can be called the official initiators of civil partnerships in Qajar Iran, which according to their statutes were divided into political, provincial, trade union, religious, literary and regional associations. One of the major political organizations that called for reforms in the structure of the pyramid of power and government in Qajar Iran and was formed during this period was the Tabriz Association. In this research, the author tries to address the role of the Tabriz Association in the constitutional movement. The research method in this research is historical, descriptive-analytical. The method of collecting information is library and review of documents and in the study of libraries of first-hand sources that are written about the role of Tabriz Association in the constitutional movement are a priority and are the main sources of research.
