Abstract

The presence of poetry in Persian prose almost began from the second half of the fifth century AH. Historians have also included many poems in the historical books of different periods. The history of Ilchi Nizam Shah and Shah IsmailName are two of the historical works from the Safavid era which are written respectively in prose and poetry. The author of the Ilchi history has brought a lot of poetic evidence from the poets of his time and his predecessors which have allocated the most statistics in the meantime the poems of Shah IsmailName. In the present study, according to Master Bahar, these poems have been divided in three groups: With narrative, descriptive and moral functions, and by showing some obvious literary themes and themes in the poems that are generally repeated in most literary works. It is implicitly discussed why they are used and their role and influence on the coherence of the text and their effect on the reader, in order to determine to what extent their harmony with the historical text is thematically and literary. It was Statistically determined that Khorshah has used the poems of Shah IsmailName in 31 cases, which are with narrative function in 16, moral,in 8 and descriptive in 7. And it is observed during these poems; religious beliefs, ancient beliefs, mythological concepts and specific uses of words and phrases.
