Investigating the impact of governments' policies and programs on the social and political participation of governments after the Islamic revolution on the process of political trust in Baluchistan society.

Abstract

Political Trust is one of the main parameters in social participation. Trust is one of the most important aspects of human relations and is the basis of participation and cooperation between members of a society. Trust accelerates exchanges in various fields and leads to greater cooperation and interaction among ethnic communities. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of social participation in promotion of political trust in Iranian Baluchistan, post Islamic Revolution. The theoretical framework of this research is based on social capital of Francis Fukuyama and Piotr Sztompka theoretical approaches to trust and their interrelationship between social participation and political trust. The research method which used for the collection oOne of the main factors which resulted in reducing the participation of Baloch in the high administrative and political structure is the political distrust of the government towards the Baloch society. This is the result of the social and political structures of the Baloch society that are rooted in the culture of trust, their mutual relations and the result of past events and mentality of the Balochistan society because of the behavioral methods of dictatorship and authoritarian centralist governments before the Islamic Revolution. Behaviors and Beliefs as a relatively permanent structure, shape and guide the past and present political behaviors and beliefs of Balochistan society and the central government. Due to this issue, there is a relative distrust in Balochistan society towards government policies.
