Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between different sociological and social components with the level of learning of German language learners (introductory level A1). In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the required information was collected through standard questionnaires whose validity and reliability were confirmed and the data of the participants in the present study were statistically analyzed using SPSS software. The statistical sample of this study consists of 120 students of Shahid Beheshti University Foreign Language Training Center who are learning German as a second language. In this study, the average use of language learning strategies for each strategy was calculated and compared based on the components studied by the participants. ANOVA statistical test was used to compare participants' scores. For this purpose, the average use of language teaching strategies among different language learners in terms of economic, social and cultural status were assessed. Based on the final results, the components of education, income status, housing status, economic status and learning culture in learning German by students in this field make a statistically significant difference at the level of 95%. In other words, the results show that higher education, higher income and economic status, housing and intrinsic motivation make a significant difference in learning German.
