Abstract

Space is always a topic of discussion in geography. A geographical place reveals its identity through space.
Although the purely physical aspect of space should not be considered, it is important to note that the relationship between urban space and the citizens of the land is important. The behavior of actors in the political management of the city and its outcome in urban geopolitics in the triad of space, power and competition are also studied.
Therefore, we discuss the relationship and interaction of these three elements in urban geopolitics.
It seems that the necessity of the existence of space in any of it requires interaction with the element of power and competition. The studied patterns and models of urban geopolitical infrastructure follow a pyramidal and triangular structure in this regard.
The importance and necessity of this research is shown when examining the place of space in urban management decisions, measuring the geopolitical weight of the city, as well as the relationship between actors and builders of power and competition in urban space.
It is concluded that the space in a logical connection with the geopolitical elements, has the ability to firstly raise the level of the city, secondly to organize all the goals of political management of the city and target the quality of governance.
This research is based on descriptive-descriptive and library research method, with reference to sound writings and documents, and an attempt has been made to achieve the desired results.
