Political behavior of government managers and its causes in the organization

Abstract

Understanding political behaviors in the organization is the result of political science contributing to organizational behavior. In today's world, organizations cannot be studied in isolation from the political behavior within them. It is very optimistic to think that the people of the organization act only for the goals and objectives of the organization. Of course, political behavior is not part of the description of the official duties of personnel in the organization, but because of its effect on the acquisition of benefits and risk aversion is of particular importance.
The aim of this study was to discover the political behavior of government managers and its causes in the organization (sample population: government managers of Khorasan Razavi province). The statistical population of this study included all government managers in Khorasan Razavi province, from which 85 people were selected as a sample. Target-based sampling was used to select individuals. The required data were collected with a researcher-made questionnaire. Findings were obtained using one-sample t-analysis, structural equations and ranking. The results showed that the political behavior of managers is to receive control over access to information at the highest level and then show calmness, resistance to change, please others, play with time, group building, blame and attack others, reverse treatment, reinforcement A positive impact, creating a network of communication, support and empathy, and presenting oneself through other powerful people are in order and in the next priorities.
