Determining the Impact of Innovation on Accepting the Change of Physical Education Teachers in the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

The need for change in all areas, especially information technology and its management is one of the basic conditions for the success of organizations, especially education. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of innovation in accepting the change of physical education teachers in the schools of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The statistical population of this study consisted of 1600 physical education teachers in Tehran that the sample size based on Morgan table 384 people were selected by simple random sampling. The research measurement tools included 2 questionnaires: 1- Antonik et al.'s Innovation Questionnaire (reliability 0.94), and 2- Bioretic and Leotin organizational change questionnaire (reliability 0.92) were used. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to evaluate the validity of the structure. Reliability was also obtained by Cronbach's alpha test. To analyze the data, structural equation path analysis and linear beta regression coefficient were used to prioritize the components, which was done using SPSS and LISREL software. Findings showed that innovation at the rate of 0.61 in accepting change has created incremental and positive change Based on the results, it can be concluded that innovation and all its components have a significant effect on accepting the change of physical education teachers. Were in acceptance of change.
