Investigation and analysis of the functions of the language element in the representation of social issues in the novel Tangsir

Abstract

Tangsir novel, written by Sadegh Chubak, an Iranian novelist, can be categorized as the written literature of the school of fiction in southern Iran. Chubak's deep acquaintance with the culture and character of the inhabitants of the Persian Gulf coasts and his use of climatic and indigenous elements common in the southern regions of Iran, has made the descriptive analysis and narrative of Tangsir story, thought-provoking and important. In this paper, elements such as beliefs and insights, temperaments, accents and dialects as well as rituals and traditions rooted in the Veins and roots of the people of Bushehr province, along with the natural and human history and geography of this region are reflected in the Tangsir as a novel have been found and analyzed. The results showed that Chubak, in addition to having a unique knowledge and mastery of various historical, geographical and cultural aspects of the inhabitants of Tangestan of Bushehr and depicted them in his novel, has also been able to reveal the manifest and hidden layers of the spirits of these people such as Liberalism and oppression, Humanity and family friendship, being naturally and environmentally friendly, well revealed from the point of view of a realist narrator.
