Abstract

This study is to present a model for measuring the effectiveness of short and medium term training courses in Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. The research method is combined (quantitative, qualitative). The statistical population includes specialists and university administrators and employees of Mazandaran Province Medical Sciences Organization. In the qualitative stage, the purposive sampling method was used, and in the quantitative phase, the proportional stratified sampling method was used, and the method (field interview, researcher-made questionnaire) was used to collect information. The collected responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (correlation and independent t-groups) using SPSS and Lisrel software. The findings showed that the main components of short- and medium-term university courses include (effectiveness and efficiency, job satisfaction, motivation and morale, planning and goal setting, managerial skills, institutionalizing organizational goals, managerial communication skills, and Finally, the emphasis is on education and development. The results also showed that between the views of institutional and operational levels in ranking the dimensions of short-term and medium-term university courses, respectively (effectiveness and efficiency, job satisfaction, motivation and morale, planning and goal setting, managerial skills, institutionalizing organizational goals , Managerial communication skills, and finally the emphasis on education and development are the most important and the least important in short and medium term university courses, respectively.
