Designing a crime prevention model in the Iranian insurance industry

Abstract

Crime prevention is one of the most important mechanisms of criminal policy that seeks to reduce or eliminate individual, environmental and criminal factors as well as the tendency to delinquency by resorting to non-coercive measures. Various supra-legislative and sub-legislative have paid attention to it. In the field of Iranian law, the founders of the constitution, in the form of various principles, on the one hand have spoken of a number of preventive measures and measures, and on the other hand, have instructed the legislator to predict the structure of the organization and how to prevent crime. What is studied in this study as the main question of the research: can a model be designed to prevent crime in the insurance industry? Iran, technical assistants of insurance companies, justice judges and NAJA accident experts and university professors as informants were conducted in a theoretically saturated manner using a questionnaire and in a semi-organized in-depth interview. The results showed: In the field of insurance into two categories within the organization, respectively, factors of expertise, commitment and formal and official supervision over insurance companies and external factors, respectively, the frequency of law defects, non-cooperation of organizations with insurance companies and cultural poverty of people in the field of insurance. They are in the field of insurance and the present model was approved.
