Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effective effect of marital commitment based on differentiation and forgiveness mediated by marital intimacy with an experimental model. In terms of purpose, this research is part of applied research and in terms of implementation, based on communication model and construction equations, is part of descriptive-correlation research and on the other hand, based on model effectiveness, is part of semi-experimental research of pre-test and post-test design. A sample of 442 people were selected from among all married education staff in Sanandaj's 1st and 2nd districts. The results showed that forgiveness, differentiation and intimacy have a direct effect on marital commitment. Also, forgiveness and differentiation through intimacy have an indirect effect on marital commitment. The research findings indicate that the conceptual model of marital commitment based on differentiation and forgiveness mediated by marital intimacy with the experimental model. The results of analysis of covariance also showed that the program based on the model increases the quality of marital life. The program based on this model can be used in family counseling centers.
