Abstract

The aim of this study was to design and validate a life skills curriculum model with a game-based approach in elementary school. The research method was documentary analysis of previous texts. Findings showed that at the level of objectives, the desired model of life skills training, promotion of physical health and mental health, promotion of interpersonal skills, promotion of moral skills, environmental skills, life skills in the age of information and communication technology, development of economic skills and Managing their income and expenditure is the development of intellectual skills and political thinking. The experiences of the countries also showed communication games, experiments and experiences, family games, field trips, court-style games, group theater, problem-solving game training, brainstorming, lecturing, role-playing, Group games and mood-boosting games are some of the best ways to teach life skills. It can be concluded that the selection of game-based content and its organization should be done according to certain principles and criteria.
