Abstract

The period of transition is a concept in which nature is in fact a shift from a culture, society and civilization to itself and a disgust with it and towards a foreign and alternative culture, society and civilization. During this period, a person suffers from alienation and self-loss. The age of modernization, globalization, and revolutions resulting from conflict theories are examples of the transition period. During the transition period, due to the conflicts and contradictions that children and adolescents grow with in the development of their personality formation; Deviance, norm-breaking, and the absolute commission of crimes will increase. These deviations can be manifested in petty crimes such as simple theft or in serious and important crimes such as riots and disturbances. The transition period can be created naturally or artificially. Factors that accelerate the transition process naturally or artificially are governance crimes, lifestyle challenges, social learning, and internal and external media.
