Abstract

Undoubtedly, under the influence of other developments in criminal law, the mediation body, which is a prominent form of restorative justice, seeks to be organized and legalized. In traditional societies, mediation issues have been customary among the people, but today's society needs new methods of mediation. Creating life in metropolitan areas, with different cultures, has led to the formation of mediators and extensive mechanisms for their education. Iran's criminal policy with the model of participatory criminal policy has tried to expand the participation of the people and the institution of mediators in criminal cases. But with the influence of criminal mediation between books and laws and its structuring, has the capacity of this institution been used properly and appropriately in resolving lawsuits?
