Abstract

The purpose of this article was to investigate the effect of teaching social-political strategies to observe Islamic clothing on the beauty of female students of Islamic Azad Universities in Fars province. Method: In the quantitative part, it was quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group, and in the qualitative part, Dikelman's method was used. The statistical population was all students of Islamic Azad University of Fars province in the academic year 2018-2019. Eight political-social solutions were taught to the experimental group during 4 2-hour sessions, one session every two weeks for 2 months. The tools of data collection were questionnaires and interviews, which were analyzed using covariance analysis with one-way repeated measurements and Dickelman analysis. Findings: There was no significant difference between the variables of education level, occupation and academic year with political-social components, and there is no significant difference between the political-social component in the two control and experimental groups in the post-test phase after removing the effect of the pre-test. Qualitative findings led to the extraction of the main theme about political-social solutions from the interviews. Result: Education has not had a statistical effect, but awareness has increased with education, but attitude change has not occurred, therefore, to change behavior, we need to create more incentives than education.
