Abstract
Tourism industry plays an important role in the economy of countries. In the meantime, rural areas are facing problems such as the migration of villagers, low income levels, and increasing poverty. Rural tourism and tourism economy are becoming one of the main pillars of economic development, and in this regard, rural tourism can play an important role in rural development and diversity with proper planning and understanding of opportunities and limitations. To have a part in the national economy.The aim of the current research is to investigate the rural tourism industry and efficient solutions for its sustainable development. The current research is of an applied type with a descriptive-analytical approach, and the collection of information is done in a combination of library and documentary methods.In the conclusion of this research, it can be said that the rural areas of Iran with beautiful natural landscapes, coastal, mountainous and forest villages and many climatic differences, as well as a combination of local customs and traditions that originate from cultural diversity. , can provide a comfortable, enjoyable and attractive environment for tourists. On the one hand, the rural tourism industry can play a valuable role in the development of rural areas and ultimately national development by diversifying the local economy and on the other hand by stimulating the growth of the local economy.
