Abstract

The countries of Iran, Turkey and Malaysia are three Islamic countries that have many similarities with each other in terms of internal characteristics; All three are Muslim countries with wide ethnic and cultural diversity. All three countries are among the developed countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran designed the Islamic-Iranian model of progress, and the countries of Turkey and Malaysia combined Islamic principles with Western modernization models and theories. The current research is a comparative-analytical analysis of political development patterns in the three mentioned countries, with an emphasis on democracy. The comparison of the political development model in three countries showed that in all three models, the foundations of Islam and the practice of Islamic principles are considered, and the ultimate goals of the governments in developing the country are to achieve the human goals of Islam, such as social justice and poverty eradication. It seems that the most efficient and successful model of progress for any country is a model that is designed based on the political, social, cultural, religious, etc. characteristics of that country and by drawing inspiration from the successful experiences of advanced countries. . Meanwhile, the three countries of Iran, Turkey and Malaysia have higher political maturity than other Muslim countries. Using the comparative method, it has been tried to explore the commonalities and differences of these three countries that have the foundations of Islam.
