Abstract

The purpose of this study is the pathology of Iran's international sports diplomacy. This study aims to investigate the pathology of Iran's international sports diplomacy. Therefore, the present study is of an applied type and because it examines and analyzes the current situation, It is a descriptive survey with a mixed approach. The study population is all political and sports experts, which is about 500 people. Due to the large size of the population, to facilitate the study using the sampling method to answer the questionnaire, according to Krejcie and Morgan table and based on simple random sampling Russian, 225 people are selected as the sample. In this research, two library and field methods have been used to collect information. In the present study, using related internal and external articles, existing theoretical frameworks as well as opinions and interviews of experts and professors of the research committee, factors related to the topic were identified and a preliminary questionnaire was prepared using the Likert scale. After determining its validity and validity, the final questionnaire was prepared and the required information was collected. In order to analyze the information in the qualitative part, the indicators were identified by Delphi method through interviews and then in the quantitative part, the indicators were distributed as a questionnaire and Likert scale and were evaluated using factor analysis. The results showed that the harms of diplomacy include cultural damage - diplomatic - friendly relations - national cohesion - business development and their related sub-indicators.
