Presenting a model of staff training process based on human resource development and principles of learning organization in the Iranian Offshore Oil Company

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a model of staff training process based on human resource development and principles of learning organization in the Offshore Oil Company of Iran. The present study is a descriptive-correlational research. The data collection tool was a questionnaire that had good validity and reliability. The statistical population of this study includes all employees of the Offshore Oil Company of Iran, whose number at the time of the study was estimated at 4874 people, and since the structural equation modeling approach was used in this study, 465 people were used as the basis for statistical analysis. In this study, AMOS software version 24 was used to analyze the data. Examination of good fit indices indicates that the proposed model has a good fit. The results also show a positive and significant effect of the training process on the principles of the learning organization (0.728) and also a positive and significant effect of the training process on human resource development (0.789). It should be noted that the success of a country in the cultural, social, political and economic fields depends on having a coherent and dynamic education system, and only by having such a system can it keep pace with social and industrial developments and progress.
