Abstract

With the formation of the Qajar dynasty, a new trend was created in the religious organization of Shiite scholars, which, by creating relative order and security, provided an environment for the ulema to recreate their maps. During this period, the ulema did not engage in theorizing as in the Safavid period, but the Baha'is cooperated with the government to avert crises such as the Bab. Nevertheless, ulema and clergy played an important role in the religious and political developments of the Qajar period. The subject of this research is the study of the personality dimensions of Sheikh Abdolhossein Tehrani (Sheikh Al-Iraqin). They were well-known socially, but they also carried out important activities in the political arena, the most important of which was the struggle against the Bab and Baha'i movements. To be elected by Amir Kabir as a judge. Although Sheikh Abdolhossein Tehrani had a major role in the Qajar period and in interaction with Amir Kabir, but his life, activities and role have not been seriously studied and researched.
