National resilience assessment model in the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

Governance is intertwined with the concept of resilience, and policy studies in many countries have moved in this direction. This article extracts a model for measuring national resilience in Iran. The statistical population is all citizens over 18 years of age living in Tehran and Documentary and survey methods and closed interview techniques have been used to collect information. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS software. The exploratory factor analysis test identified the main factors of national resilience and the confirmatory factor analysis test was used to extract the model. With the obtained results, the model of measuring national resilience in Iran was obtained with 4 factors and 9 sub-factors, which include social resilience (desire for social participation, social hope), economic resilience (economic adequacy, perception of justice), political resilience (desire for Political participation is trust in the honesty and efficiency of the state, national loyalty) and psychological resilience (the prevalence of moral qualities, vivacity and cheerfulness).
