Abstract

Economics and Culture have a lot of Epistemological and Instrumental capacities so that they could have very important influence on human behavior and economic development. In this assay we want to introduce a very new approach called cross-disciplinary between economics and culture to attract experts pay much more attention to the important role that culture plays on economic development. In this way first we would discuss that how cultural instruments specially education can affect economic behavior and development and then will use its implications to provide useful guidelines contouring the pattern of economic education for Iran formal education system. To show the big effect of culture on economic development we would study here the experience of America in economic education. We hope could provide useful guidelines that in addition to education are able to use other kinds of cultural instruments in economic development. America is the first country to use economic benchmarks in education system and that’s why we have focused in this case study
