Explain the problems of the executive branch in the light of prismatic theory and provide a model for achieving good governance

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to explain the problems of the executive branch in the light of prismatic theory and to provide a model for achieving good governance.
Methods: The present study was applied-objective in terms of purpose and the data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 19 experts of Iranian government organizations and analyzed by content analysis method. Finally, all dimensions and components obtained by fuzzy Delphi technique Were analyzed and confirmed.
Findings: In the present study, the fuzzy Delphi method was performed in two rounds. The value of fuzzy to measure the degree of consensus of experts in the second round for the dimensions and components of the problems of the executive branch in the light of prism theory and good governance is above 0.7, which shows that there is coordination between the views. Thus, the dimensions of good governance include accountability, participation, transparency, fairness, legitimacy, power, risk management and flexibility, government capacity, interactions of government institutions, and effectiveness.
