Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the components of Iranian political culture and how they spread during the period of MohammadReza Shah. Therefore, The question of the article is what components of Iranian political culture in the period of MohammadReza Shah had and how these components were formed? The hypothesis of the research is that the political culture of Iran during the period of MohammadReza Shah had non-civilized components and among the various factors that played a role in the prevalence of these components, the political structure played a more important role; the article believes that people who lived under the authoritarian Government of the second Pahlavi for many years were naturally undemocratic and authoritarian, and that the ruling spirit of the Iranian political elite and people was reflected in their behavior, morals and morals. By adopting and applying authoritarian policies, this regime was able to form the necessary bases and facilities for the emergence and spread of positive and civil components in Iranian political culture such as: legalism, political trust and ... prevent and instead provide the necessary structural space for the emergence and spread of non-civilized and negative components such as: fear of the power of the king or government, feelings of insecurity, political distrust, violence and militancy, political intolerance, etc in the Iranian political culture. In this article, the descriptive-analytical method has been used.
