Abstract

Assassination, meaning political assassination, refers to behavior that evokes a sense of collective fear and leads to violence and indiscriminate killing. Whereas terror has hated characteristics instead of rationalism, anti-rationalism, violence and narcissism instead of rationalism; Therefore, their creators are facing serious challenges from political currents, governments and political researchers. On the other hand, the arrogant powers intend to accuse Muslims of terrorism. Hence, it seems necessary to study this issue and review and critique the thought of terror. This treatise seeks to answer the main question: what are the criticisms of assassination based on the Holy Quran and hadiths? In order to answer the question raised in connection with the assassination, the Holy Quran has answered them in verses such as verse 151 of An'am, verse 32 of Ma'idah and verse 32 of Isra 'and forbids killing except by truth. Also in Islamic traditions, assassination is strictly forbidden. The present dissertation, by adopting a descriptive-analytical method, after expressing the concept of assassination, has stated their examples and also examined the verses and narrations on the subject of prohibiting assassination.
