Martyr Soleimani's manners and character in serving the people: providing a practical model for the agents of the Islamic system

Abstract

Martyr Soleimani, who was trained in Islam and the school of the Imams of the Revolution, was an example of a real and sincere human being in serving people and cannot be limited to geographical borders. Due to the fact that serving people is a central issue in Islam and also the statements of the Supreme Leader, in this article, using a mixed method, the character and method of Martyr Soleimani in serving people were studied. The statistical population of this research is the statements of the Supreme Leader, and also speeches, manuscripts, memoirs and interviews with friends and acquaintances of the great martyr, which were analyzed using the method of content analysis. The obtained data include 137 basic themes, 25 organizing themes and 6 comprehensive themes, including motivating factors to serve the people (Motivational desires, utilitarianism and virtue); underlying factors (monotheistic-Islamic worldview and ideology and value system) and finally, the dimensions of the character and method of Martyr Soleimani in serving people (self-sacrifice, justice, courage, sincerity, prudence and wisdom, kindness, honesty, management and Jihadic work). Kappa Cohen coefficient and Delphi method were used to measure the reliability and validation of the components.
