Abstract

Poverty reduction is one of the most important goals of development programs. Considering the importance of socio-cultural and psychological factors in development and its close relationship with poverty, he studies a set of variables affecting poverty under the title of cultural - socio and psychological factors in the cities of Oramanat, Kermanshah province. The experimental model was estimated in terms of income as an indicator of poverty using the weighted least squares method. The statistical population was first selected using Cochran's formula of 400 heads of households and in the next step using stratified random sampling method. The results showed that among the psychological factors affecting poverty, the self-esteem factor and among the socio-cultural factors, the factors of destiny and discredit in the world are the most influential variables on poverty. Therefore, employing counseling and psychological experts in the organs and departments in charge of the poor in the field of intellectual empowerment of people and also broadcasting applications by radio and television, especially provincial and local networks to create a desirable and correct attitude towards worldly life and religious issues. In citizens - can be effective in overcoming poverty in these areas.
