Examining the relationship between the sense of social responsibility and electoral behavior of Ahvaz women

Abstract

The issue of political participation and how to realize it is rooted in the ancient history of nations, and today this concept has gained double importance, and participation in various fields has always been discussed by many thinkers and experts; In the opinion of some experts, the main axis of development is based on political participation. Considering the importance of discussing the electoral behavior of women, the present research, by using the field method, survey technique, questionnaire tool and the use of SPSS and Smart PLS software, seeks to answer the main question whether there is a difference between the different dimensions of the sense of social responsibility. Is there a connection between Ahvaz women's electoral behavior? The statistical population of the current research is women aged 18 and above in Ahvaz city, of which 384 people have been examined as the sample size. The results of the research indicate that there is a relationship between the sense of social responsibility (0.41) and its dimensions, i.e. internal commitment (0.37), external commitment (0.45) and sense of social belonging (0.39) with women's electoral behavior. There is positive, direct and meaningful. Therefore, all research hypotheses are rejected.
