The Impact of Privatization of Government Clubs and Its Role in Promoting Sports Management in Iran

Abstract

The most key solution to our country's football management problems is in the hands of the government. Of course, it does not mean the government itself, but the role of the government in implementing privatization, which is effective. Research shows that moving in the direction of state ownership leads to backwardness, and governments must create a conducive environment to lead the country toward emancipation from government dependence and privatization. The same is true of football, which is currently in a managerial position. Previous research, using descriptive and analytical methods, examined the relationship between privatization and sports management and its effects. In this article, the concept of privatization and its history in the shadow of government management, goals and effects of privatization, the concept of management, adapting the stages of general privatization with the process of privatization in sports, the need for its realization in our country's football clubs and national sports laws. Internationalization of Privatization was examined. The results indicate that the privatization of the country's football clubs can have many direct and indirect effects on the management and achieve the desired results.
