Abstract

The rapid and growing population of the world and the attention of people to cities around the world have had a significant impact on the future and life of humanity. Today, cities are increasingly exposed to unfortunate crises, especially in developing countries. Smart city is a new category that has been considered by experts and researchers today. In the smart city, residents can get the services they need in the shortest time and easily and at low cost, and this is one of the factors that governments pay attention to creating a close link between citizens and government agencies. To be. The city of Tabriz as one of the largest and most populous cities in the country and one of the top five metropolises today and over the past few decades, has seen rapid growth in both population and structural dimensions. The present study, understanding the importance of the issue and the role of smart cities and more importantly providing services to citizens with the best quality, intends to use the studies to investigate the effective factors for smart in the city of Tabriz. The results indicate that the most important components affecting smart cities are: technology, quality of environment and life, urban planning, environment and sustainability and energy, transportation, economy, governance, social solidarity. In the city of Tabriz, the situation of most indicators is favorable for intelligence, and with better education and culture, this can be achieved.
